Transfer Station Information
Location
The transfer station is located at 101 Martin Lane, Moberly, Missouri, just north of the Prison facility south of Moberly.
Hours of Operation
Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. through 4:00 p.m., and Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
What is Accepted?
This facility was established to accept bulk and limited heavy waste. Items that could be disposed of through a normal trash collection service will not be accepted. This facility is also limited by the same restrictions as the landfill, regulated hazardous waste, radioactive material, polychlorinated biphenyls (PCD's), major appliances, explosives, regulated infectious wastes, waste oil, yard waste, lead-acid batteries and tires* unless chipped, shredded or quartered.
* Special arrangements have been made to handle tires and appliances (see below).
Minimum load, 500 pounds or less - $14.00
Demolition - $52.00 per ton
Household trash - $47.00 per ton
White Goods
Non-Freon - $5.00
Freon - $20.00
Tires
16 or smaller - $1.50
16.5 or larger - $5.50
All loads must be tarped or a $25.00 charge will be applied
The transfer station does NOT accept tractor tires.
