“Fun With Pay!”
Each year, Moberly Parks and Recreation employs over 80 part-time and seasonal employees. These are great entry-level jobs for teenagers, or a great source of additional income for someone just looking to have some “fun with pay!” To be considered for a job with Parks and Recreation, you need:
- To be at least 16 years old
- To be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- For certain jobs, able to pass a criminal background check
- To be ready to have a great time!
Some of the opportunities available at Parks and Recreation are:
- Lifeguards
- Pool Managers
- Concession Workers
- Park Maintenance Crew
- Athletic Complex Crew
- Athletic Complex Supervisors
- Auditorium and Facility Assistants
- Special Event Assistants
If you are interested in working for Moberly Parks and Recreation, you need to fill out a City of Moberly Application. We only accept applications if we have a vacancy, so you may want to give us a call first.
Moberly Parks and Recreation also hires Sports Officials every year to help us during our baseball, softball and football seasons. If you are interested in being an official, please contact Katie Noyd. You still need to fill out a City of Moberly Application, but contact our department for more information.
