Yard Waste Drop-off Facility

What is Acceptable

This facility accepts the following items:

• Leaves and grass (please empty bags and take them with you)
• Tree limbs, but only those less than 6 inches around
• Used motor oil if it is not contaminated at no charge

Tires

Tires for a charge as follows:

• Passenger car/light truck, up to 16", per tire $3.00 
• Passenger car/light truck, over 16", per tire $3.25
•  Large truck. up to 24.5", per tire $8.00 
• Rear farm, per tire $35.00 
• Bobcat/skidloader, per tire $7.50 
• Implement tire, per tire $7.00 
• Front farm, per tire $6.00 
• Super single truck tire, per tire $16.00
• Forklift tire, per tire $7.50  
• Large Ag (combine, sprayer), per tire $60.00 
• Passenger wheel with tire, per tire $13.00 
• Farm tire with wheel, per tire $46.00 
• Floater tire $70.00 

Free Items for Pick Up

Wood chips and composted leaves and grass are available for self-service pick-up. If you need assistance with a large load (i.e.: truck load), call 660-269-7638 to confirm crews are available before 7am or from 2:30-3pm.

Unacceptable Items

The City does not accept any trash or lumber. For information or questions on disposal of solid waste, please reference to the Transfer Station portion of this website.
